Call to CALL RIFA Management Team for UAFA (personal contacts only)

GREAT NEWS. The first federal legislation recognizing same-sex couples is ON THE DRAWING BOARD and IN THE SENATE FRAMEWORK. http://www.politico.com/static/PPM154_proposal.html

ONE rather powerful Catholic group – the USCCB has come out against us strongly. See: http://content.usatoday.com/topics/post//90504.blog/1 & http://www.usccb.org/comm/archives/2009/09-122.shtml

PLEASE CALL ANYONE YOU KNOW PERSONALLY (i.e., this is not a call for general calls to these groups) THAT WORKS AT ANY OF THE GROUPS LISTED BELOW to sure up and get support. Please be nice, even to the “no’s” because we’re working from a position of strength… so we’re not looking to rock the boat at the moment.

ASK (generally): “PLEASE SUPPORT UAFA INCLUSION IN CIR, consistent with the SENATE framework, and PLEASE STEP UP THAT SUPPORT IF YOU DO ALREADY. WE NEED OUR FRIENDS TO SPEAK UP LOUDER!”

Please report back if you get a firm answer either way (to [email protected]).
