“Run, Sarah, Run!” Palin Talks the Talk and Teabaggers Walk The Walk at “Gaylord Opryland”: “Drill, Baby, Drill!”

I braced myself, lowered the volume, and tuned into Sarah Palin’s speaking engagement at the for profit Tea Party Convention in Nashville.
Did anyone else notice the irony of the sign on Pitbull Palin’s fringe convention lectern? It read “Gaylord Opryland” Think about the subliminal meaning of that profound statement to the right wing audience! Gaylord Homosexual Jesus Takes The Wheel at the Grand Old Opry! Hilarious!

From The New York Times:
Palin Assails Obama at Tea Party Meeting
Ms. Palin gave the Tea Party crowd exactly what they wanted to hear, declaring the primacy of the Tenth Amendment in limiting government powers, complaining about the bailouts and the “generational theft” of rising deficits, and urging the audience to back conservative challengers in contested primaries.
“To win that war(on terror), we need a commander in chief, not a professor of law,” she declared.

Convention organizer Judson Phillips remarked to Palin in the question and answer segment following her speech,
“Two words that scare liberals: President Palin”.

Phillips was right about that. Those two words scare me to death. As President, Sarah Palin could easily start World War Three.

Dear Gay Lord, Please Stop her.

The more bigotry pushed out of the closet for all voters to see, the more likely it is that Americans will be moved to grant overdue full citizenship to gay Americans.
